After a busy start to 2019, we have finally been able to sit and reflect on some of our favourite events of 2018. The Grace Loves Lace Christmas party that took place last December is definitely one of them. It is so exciting to work with a brand you love and believe aligns with your overall aesthetic, so needless to say we were pretty happy to be brought on board for styling this event.
The event took place in a beautiful private property in the tranquil Currumbin Valley which had lush greenery everywhere you looked. Originally the party was meant to take place outdoors, cascading out onto luscious grass overlooking the serene creek. However unfortunately the weather gods didn't envision this and decided to rain on our parade. Luckily there was a huge barn onsite that sheltered all from the rain.
We created a low setting on the floor for guests to sit and relax in along with some cane lounge settings. We kept to a neutral colour palette when designing the seating areas and florals. And because who doesn't love a good photo station at a Christmas Party, we also created a dry floral backdrop to grab a shot in front of.
Fairy Lights draped from the barn down onto the floor so the team could dance under the twinkling lights. Dry bars and stools were provided by Inspired Space Event Hire and were placed outside near the dance floor along with the delicious food trucks. Wheel and Spoon were also on hand to cure that after dinner sweet tooth.
See for yourself how lovely the evening was with the collection of beautiful images below captured by Peony and Page.
Enjoy! Xx
